Gentlemen, It is early in the afternoon of April 6 and I need to determine what my Pittsburgh Landing strategy will be. I have a number of questions how reinforcements are handled in this game. Pittsburgh Landing is not a protected reinforcement entry for the Army of Ohio. But, 1. Does the entry hex need to be physically occupied by the Rebs to deny reinforcement entry? (Probably, but the hex is also an objective hex with a flag of ownership.) 2. If Pittsburgh Landing is occupied, does that deny all reinforcements, or just reinforcements for that particular turn? 3. Is a denied reinforcement unit lost forever? Or, (after a good pounding by the Lexington and Tyler), if the actual hex is retaken, can those earlier denied units come back into play? I am currently in the historical (4h) game, but how would this be handled (turn of entry denial) if the game were variable entry?
