Copied this from the Cartography Office and Scenario Center forum. The scenario is available for download at Game Squad but don't see it yet at the Scenario Design Center.

"I have always been interested in what would have happened at Gettysburg if things had been reversed and the Rebs had been defending and the Yanks were attacking. In BGG there is a scenario called “This Seems Familiar” but in my view it did not play well (especially if you played as the Rebs) and I could not find something in the similar vain in HPS Gettysburg, so I decided to do one up – so hence we have “ A Reversal of Fortunes”. This scenario has the CSA defending and the Union attacking. The CSA is set up on the map with the same numbers and types of units as was the Union on the day, and the CSA reinforcements come on at the same rate as the Union originals - from the same entry hexes. The opposite is true for the Union set-up and reinforcements.

However both sides end up with the same amount on men on the map as in the original battle. I would like to acknowledge all the work General Ned Simms did on the OoB and reinforcement schedule – he taught me a lot about scenario design (truth be told he did most of the work). Also General John Dragan and General Derald Riggs who undertook the play testing <salute>

If you want a copy please e-mail me, if possible I will also get it placed at the SDC and Game Squad - ENJOY

Ah, now this is good and well worth a look. I know because a long time ago I set about doing the exact same thing, but gave up as I wasn't too sure about arrival times for the "extra" Union units. I'm glad someone felt motivated enough to see it through to completion. It just goes to show how excellent and simple to use the HPS Scenario Editor is.

I always wondered if this idea would fall down through the Reb side being that much smaller? Both sides arriving piecemeal to the battle etc. Though you say it has been play tested?

The only thing is to give it a go...

It will be posted at SDC, as Cam was kind enough to send me over a copy yesterday.

It happened to conicide with a preventative maintainence issue ( currently the open source software SDC uses lumps all download files into one single generic folder ... which is ok when a site has only a few downloads ... but can be a problem down the line). So basically the site is in the process of adding some structure behind the scenes. I expect to address this all in the coming week, and although I could have posted the scenario now, I would just be moving it in a week -so I beg the communities' indulgences until I get that set up.

Also I was hoping to find Can's description here (which I did) ... so -yep, all good, and it will be there shortly. :)
