According to the info, we are supposed to find the movement range of a unit by highlighting the unit and pressing "0" on the keypad. This, however, changes the formation of the highlighted unit. What am I missing?

It worked for me by highlighting the unit and hitting the "0" key on the second row of the keyboard. Also on the keypad. Once you activate it for one unit it works for all the other units as well.

If you hit "0" on the numerical keys above the QWERTY row then it works.

If you hit "0" on the Calculator Numberpad on the right-hand side of the keyboard it changes formation.
