Gentlemen,

With the retirement of Gen. Joe Meyer the Union Army webpages had lost their primary administrator for the Eagles Online site.
I had been assisting Joe with the updates by handling the AotS webpages,and I have been doing most of the updates for the UA pages since his retirement.
I have been trying to update, standardize, simplify and comment the code so that updates can be made without knowing a lot about html.

I had planned on closing down my personal ACWGC Engineering site as WDS has included the pdf versions of my PDT and OOB Explained files in the CWB Manuals folders.
When I learned the UA HQ Group was looking to replace the Eagles Online site, I gave them the cost of the Engineering site for a comparison and they elected to move to that host.
Once the site is completely set up Admin control will be shared between myself and the UA HQ Group and anyone who is willing to assist can be given limited FTP access for updating the webpages.

The files were copied over to the new site last month and checked out.
Notified Scott Ludwig and he recently completed updating the links on the club site to the new urls.
For those who have the sites bookmarked on their own browser you can update from the club sites.
I am not sure how long the Eagles Online site will remain online but I do not plan on updating the pages at both sites.

For those interested the updated Engineering site is listed in the Link Express as Ken Miller's ACW Cartography Office

General Miller,

Thank you for all the work you do behind the scenes for the ACWGC in general and the Union Army in particular - without the dedicated efforts of gentlemen like you, the ACWGC would have nowhere to meet & would be unable to function in its current format.

<SALUTE>
