Greetings
I'm Andy Moss and I'm a new member to the ACWGC! Not that I'm new to Tiller games, I've been playing them since 1997 with the old Battleground games. I usually lurk out at the NWC and Blitz, but recently diversified to the ACW games.
Retired geologist/archaeologist. A bit like CSI on a longer timescale. When not playing games a lot of time is taken up with two labradors, one being a retired Guide Dog.
Not been to the USA but visited various UK battlefields, frequently built over. And a bit of excavation work there. And recently Thermopylae.
I have a tiny collection of German medals and badges which my father swopped as a kid with German POW's locally. He also had an unexploded incendiary bomb he swopped his bike for, but that was confiscated after a good hiding. I do have a box of shrapnel he collected though. And a nineteenth century sword found in a skip. And a 9000 year old hazel nut, chewed by a squirrel, from my excavations. For some time I also had Lindow Man's cranial washings out. House is full of such stuff, books and a lot of dog towels and harnesses.
Hope to meet various folks on the virtual battlefield in due course.
