Well, since I am the one creating the site, you would think that I would have an idea [?] when it will be up. I don't know exactly but it should be very soon. Hopefully by the time Tiller Con ends next week at the latest.[8D]
The problem at this point is not with the site itself. The site is fully functional and ready to roll. [:D] What I am in the last stages of doing is reformating the last 6000 games that have been registered in this club so that they will function properly with the new site. I completed a major task today when, using the May 31st rosters that were supplied to me by Gen. Nelms and Gen. Cross, I created the membership key numbers. This is critical to the functioning of the site. With this I should be able to complete the data input and have it ready to roll. I am planning on doing a presentation on the new site at Tiller Con and hopefully open it up at that time. Don't hold me to that, but it is my goal.[8)]
One of the unfortunate side effects of shutting down the old site was the lockdown of promotions.[:(] I apologize for that but it could not be avoided. We had to shut it down so the points could be stabilized for a starting point on the new site. The good news is, with the new site your points are posted immediately! No waiting for confirmation emails or anything like that. Each Army Commander will monitor their command's OBDs to know when promotions are in line. All points, of course, are subject to confirmation.
So, please be patient for just a little while longer. The Civil War wasn't won in a day, [;)] so everyone keep fighting those battles and we will catch up on all the admin stuff shortly! When the site comes up you will receive detailed instructions on what to do.[:)]
