Gentlemen of the ACWGC!

The Army of the Potomac cordially invites you all to a Christmas party at our Tavern, Rosie's. The Rebs have already invaded the place, and brought food. (There isn't a squirrel or possum from Richmond to the Rappahanock as a result!)[:D]

Come one, come all, stop in and say hello, sling a few friendly jabs between Blue and Grey, and drink all the whiskey, suds or sasparilla you can stomach!

We'll be partying from today up through New Years, when our Artillery Reserve promises to put on a fireworks show and chase the Rebs back into their own lines...[:p]

Happy Holidays!

Thank you General Laub Suh,
Guess I stake a claim over yonder and set a spell, after eaten my share of road kill provide by Lt. Phillips. Next to BBQ, road kill stew is some mighty fine vettles[xx(]. That isn't so about any squirrel or possums from Richmond to Rappahanock, it's from Sumpter to Gettysburg[B)]and deer are included. That you Lt. Phillips for the roadkill[:p] Merry Christmas to ya'll and Happy New Year, can't wait for the fireworks from your arty unit General Laub.

I have been over there for a bit, still trying to find a Yank that can hold his booze.

I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
