G'Day Mates

Today the 26TH of January is Australia Day, a day of celebration for the birth of the nation "Down Under"

So in true ANZAC spirit, I invite all the Aussies out there as well as all our fellow Officers both North and South to come help us celebrate, throw a snag on the BBQ, peel a couple of prawns and knock back a coldy or 4, slap on some sunscreen and kick back in the warm tropical sunshine........[:D]

First round is on me, just gotta find where I left the esky !!!![:o)]

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie,
"warm tropical weather" you must be from Qld or NT.
"snag and prawns on barby" you must be from Qld or NT as Sam Kekovitch would be very disappointed there is no lamb on that barby of yours.

Best of all the Aussies won the one day match against Sri Lanka with only 9 balls to go (sorry talking cricket for you Yanks out there reading this), and yes the coldies went down well witnessing this.

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oy, oy, oy.

This Reb will join you in celebrating!

(And this Yank (that's "Yank" not "yankee"!!) speaks "cricket." Sounds like a great match!)

Australia Day no longer (in the Eastern States & South Aus.). I'll join in for a beer (or 4) to continue the celebrations a little while longer! Particularly since we won the cricket.

There's got to be something wrong with people who enjoy a sport based on a small, noisy beetle-like creature that is only good for fishin'... and scaring women. [:D]

Gents,
Happy Australia Day. Never was so lucky to visit your fine country. My dad did during the war, was on U.S Navy subs down there. Me the closes I every got was in New Zealand, Christchurch. That was our jump off point for Antarctica. Did three deployments there in the early 80's was with Naval Support Force Antarctica O.A.E (old antarctica explorer[:p]).So G'Day and drink plenty of Foster's for Me[;)]
