Sirs:
On the verge of my first glorious victory for Southern arms at Blackburn's Ford, when the time limit in scenario was reached, I got this "Application Error" prompt:

The instruction at "0x73dd11c7" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".

Does anyone know what the heck it means and how to fix it?

You should send an email with full information and file to HPS Support:

First, reboot and try it.

If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the game.

HPS advised they will not help with a Talonsoft product... I will try the reinstall. Thanks.

Hi,

If nothing else works and HPS won't help (understandably), you might try John Tiller's unofficial website. He might refuse to help as well, but you never know til you try.

I have one computer that gets a similar error from time to time in different programs. I normally just restart the program and everything is ok. I figured one of my memory sticks has a bad location. Do you get this same error every time you try to open the file ?

Yes, every time, even after rebooting, and to my dismay, even after reinstalling the whole game.

Do a search for 0x73dd11c7 on GOOGLE and you will find a lot of information on that error.

Ernie's tip of Googling ANY error message is a good one. You'll almost always find help by doing that.
