My first intention with the role playing with Cela was to follow different Regiments throughout the battle, I wanted to pick one Regiment from each Corp. This went fine at first but realistically a Regiment only sees so much action( especially XIth Corp) so after a while there was nothing to write about. At first I just made names up but those from Rugers Brigade were actual Civil war names. The geography as to where the men were from for all three Regiments was somewhat correct.

Eventually I started moving up the chain of command so that the readers could get a better over view of the battle. Sadly, as there became more and more to write about the Battle itself became larger and larger so that after fighting I just was too weary to write much-for this I apologise.

I think there were between 11 and 20 regular readers of the reports. I received few comments so I dont know how it was received, I would like some feed back as whether this is worthwhile as it does require some effort.[:p]

Tony,

I enjoyed reading your diaries. I'd love to be able to do something similar but don't know where I'd find the time.

Tony, I too am one of the regulars reading the posts and have enjoyed them greatly! Please keep it up as best you can! I know it is time consuming and that is why there isn't more of it today, everyone is soo busy with real life and gaming time is small!

Regards,

Tony,

I echo the previous three comments. I also was a regular reader and found your posts to be entertaining and educational. Thanks for taking the time to do them and I hope we can look forward to another battle some time in the future!
