I know that the full club membership is well into the hundreds but does anyone know how many actually visit the Mason Dixon? I cant tell because not everyone reads all the posts and of course some read posts more than once, Would 50 part of the time and 40 most of the times be an accurate guess? Lower? Is the Mason Dixon the heart and soul or is it the Armies? Something else? Just musing....[:p]

Hi Tony!

A question I have often mused upon. [:)]

I have no hard evidence or factual documentation to go on . . butfrom observation I would posit a rough guess as:

Everyday Readers 25%

Once a week Readers 40%

Casual Drop-ins 15%

Hardly Evers 20%

To encourage greater frequency . . . I think that if all members were to set their primary Desktop shortcut to the Club Boards to the "Active Messages since last Visit" option, whenever one wants to post for a Game etc . . . the titles of various "Fresh Post" on all the Boards would be visible and may catch their attention, encouraging a visit to those posts and provide more regular readerships.

As per my current Survey . . . Camaraderie appears to be the Heart of the Club and the Boards are a vital ingredient in that mix.

Just a ramble thru' some very scattered Sunday morn thoughts! [:p]

Pat.
