Gentlemen:

I need someone to design a medal and ribbon for me to issue out to my brigade commanders. It will be call, The Order of the Palmetto. Since I am from South Carolina.

This award, I have the approval of Gen. Bowman and Gen. Mallory, will be issued to any of my commanders for the most points fo a capture, killed or wounding of an Union Officers in a reporting month.

Will someone help me in designing this award? I have asked Lt. Quick and he has volunteer to help me with my web page but he stated that he lacks the knowledge of graphic designs.

Thanks for you help in advance...

Col Tisdale,

Here's an idea, the medal is the seal of SC. The ribbon can be changed to whatever colors and design you would care to give me.

If you would prefer I could break the seal down and just show the palmetto part as the medal but that will take some time to do and I am leaving on vacation Saturday so you wouldn't get it for a couple weeks or so.

Your second choice would be a badge similar to this

Let me know what you think.
