Carthage, Mo. July 5, 1861.
While advancing on Boonville, US General Lyon sent forces to southwestern Missouri to cut off the Missouri State Guard retreat.
On July 5, a column of Federals under US Colonel F. Sigel approached Carthage. To stop them, Governor C.F. Jackson established a line of battle about six miles north of Carthage.

One USA and one CSA officer are needed to play this scenario.
The first two to reply to this topic will fight the battle.

You will fight for 4 victory points for the 1st HACW.

This does look like a challenge for one of you! [:0]
You are outnumbered nearly 3 to 1, although the level of your troops are "B", "C" compared to my militia "Fs" [V] The rebels start out fixed and distrupted. [B)][:(!]

Another set back is, you do have to "Fit Mit Sigel" [:p]
