I think that this is an important part of the series that is missing. You just can't fight till you have no more troops.

What about not allowing units that have reached BCE to voluntarily move adjacent of an enemy unit and not melee. Units that are adjcent should also be forced to retreat.

I know that this is asking for alot but we use to do it when we had cardboard and tweezers.

I played a boardgame the other day and realized that the eysight is a big consideration. Those hex numbers are pretty small. The unit names are pretty small.
