Sirs! <salute> A hearty "Thanks" for the most cordial welcome to the Tavern. I've come to report that the word on the street is indeed correct; my attire is replete with "long pockets". Unfortunately, long pockets do not mean full pockets. Dalliances with the fairer sex have left my purse and pockets quite empty.
However, I do happen to have a jug of some Mexican libation which I liberated one afternoon in Chapultepec where, as a sergeant of the artillery, I sponged and loaded for Lieutenant Jackson. I beg forgiveness that the bottle is not quite full; 'twas a laborious afternoon and I was most certainly in need of strong drink at its conclusion.
Who shall join me for a drink?
