I passed through Pearl several time while on the USS Coral Sea on our way to VietNam in the late 60's. Very moving to see the USS Arizona from the flight deck as we passed by. We always lined the rail when entering the harbor and gave a salute to the memory of the men still on the ship. Thirty years later I was again in Pearl working for JICPAC, which over looks Ford Island from the East. I can never can keep my eyes dry when I see that location.

Well i got a strange coincidance in my life. My mom was born on 7th December so i always remeber her birthday as im interested in History. The same thing go's for my Girl Friend as she was born on 22nd of June another WWII important Date.
