Officers and gentlemen of the South!

I just wanted to thank you all for the warm welcome to the Army of Alabama. I signed up to do some fighting and shoot at some yankees and they said "go West young man". I requested to be assigned to the fastest marching and hardest fighting army in the Confederacy and they sent me to ya'll. It is an honor and a privilege to serve with each of you in the great Army of Alabama.

Now, I've got all this Lieutenant's pay burning a hole in my pocket so drinks are on me. So boys, belly up to the bar and let's drink to a Southern victory!

A Lieutenant's Pay? Um... make mine a water please

I am sure you will do very well in the AoA, sir! Once you get up to a Colonel's pay you should be able to afford to buy Cam enough alcohol to get him through the morning.

The AoA is a fine unit with some very friendly officers. I know you will do great and have alot of fun in it.

Remember to watch your flanks and to not let the Yankee guns intimidate you. Those Yanks love to bring up countless cannon to blast our lines at close range. If you ever need any strategic advice be sure to ask on the Southern Raiders forum or to email a Club veteran.

Barkeep! A refill please!

Cheers!

Keep sticking it to those yanks sir! Give them the bayonet wherever possible. They do not like that!

Claude - I know this fine new Lt. doesn't have much money - so why don't you just pass some of our finest stuff to all these fine gentlemen here and put it on my tab. NOW COME ON Claude - you know I am good for it.
