I was told the officers of the AoA were to meet for libation. I get here, the place is a mess, Claude is asleep behind the bar and there is no one else in sight. This looks the perfect time to call, "Claude, drinks for the house on me!".

Ah Sir... you are not quite alone. I've come to check the guest book and see how our liquor reserves are holding up. Not too bad... it seems we've had quite a party. Can you believe some of the folks who showed up? General Meyer himself... and he came bearing gifts. A true gentlemen!

I too have arrived late, I suspect the show is over also. I do aplogise. It is my habit to turn up 5 days late for parties and battles. As a result I am one of the older members of the AoA. Alive and sober. Speaking of Geriatric Generals I shall toast the great General Pinkham in his absence
