Welcome, Alan! If you do an MP game with Danner and Riggs, you are in good company.

Were this even a possibility, I think that the parties would struggle to unite aims. I can't see fighting in Georgia as a priority. Mexican forces, as you alluded, would likely want to reclaim some of their lands. Would the French contingent be more interested in using Texas as a springboard to reta...

David,

Sounds like something for a Harry Turtledove novel! Having just done a Chickamauga scenario, eh, I don't think so. With all those Germans in the Army of the Cumberland? You might launch a European war right there!

For what it is worth, I made a copy of my Antietam folder, installed 4.05, and was able to pull up an ongoing game with no problem. The game turn was created in 4.04.1.

Is this one of those questions for which there is no correct answer? In terms of leadership incompetence, the two armies were mirror images. There were political operatives and glory hounds on both sides. And, of course, the A of P faced Lee. Buell, and then Rosecrans, were not Lee. Forced to come d...

General Mihalik's point is well taken. Part of the problem is the limitation of the base 12 movement system. Off-road movement is the same whether in column or line, which it was not. Were the game system to employ a different base -- 24, for example -- the 2/3 ratio is possible for column movement ...

I have found that the install scripts don't work correctly at times. I had problems installing some 4.01 updates and could only get them to work if I uninstalled 4.00 first.

George,

Welcome aboard the Union ship! Costa Rica! Haven't seen many references in all the Civil War history I have read.
