This is happening in the North, yes?
Well apart from the PBI (poor bloody infantry) - It is only what you deserve.

Sirs, I am not an expert on this matter in any way shape or form but the following may be on interest. I served in the army during the 70's (1970's). I was not in a front line corps but we (Royal Signals) had to train as infantry (badly trained ;-) ). If I remember correctly we carried 60 rounds for... |

I had that problem a couple of times in Nap BG, even deleting the XXX & YYY files did not cure it. I now know that you can save the file in the wrong directory and still play a couple of turns with the wrong map! Interestingly the system knows what units would be visible on the correct map and s... |

Don't believe I had gthe emails.
But I do feel underwhelmed, it seems too easy to get promoted - no wins and only a few games played - there is no sense of achievement. |

It seems I have been promoted to a Major ?
No one told me - I did not know I had actually made it to Captain.
don't actually think I deserved it.
Does it matter in this club what you do ? |

Okay.
Thinking I may mainly stick to Napoleonics then as apart from FBR I have not found a map I like.
Hopefully will get better with experience and be able to enjoy the other scenario's. |

<Salute> Gentlemen, I have the Matrix collection of Battleground Civil War and the more I look through the scenario's the more indecisive I get. I am better at Napoleonic s than I am at ACW (not by much ;-) ) Chickamaga map defeats me never mind the opponent! I can't seem to move around like I want ... |

<Salute> Sir,
It would give me great pleasure to fight a Yankee that is as new to this as myself. To this end I have sent a courier to your inbox.
I have learned a lot from being beaten by your Generals so I may be able to offer some competition.
Regards, |

I am sure someone with my surname was famous but not sure if it really matters. But then again I have the same surname as my father but my father's parents emigrated from Italy so theirs would not have been quite the same. :D :? Then again I seem to be following in my heritage and just like Italy - ... |
