Hello Gents, It has been a while since I posted anything. Covid had me swamped at work for what seems like forever. Just recently I found the time to design a new scenario for anyone who might want to play it. The scenario is a "what if" about Lee's lost orders never being found. Takes pla... |

This all seems like a lot of effort to control the historicity of a scenario for the first time played, if one doesn't simply pre-load the scenario from the opponent's perspective. Or am I missing something in how the game engine might randomly select those VP values each time the scenario is opene... |

Outstanding point. I will create it under Gettysburg as that is the one most people have. |

Anyone interested in playtesting a Varible VP hex scenario? I am thinking about making one. Leaning towards a short one based on the Kernstown battle. I think that scenario will highlight well the nature of the new VP system. The longer the CSA hold at the wall the better will be their outcome, unle... |

Thanks Berto for posting and linking all that information! It's very helpful. I see myself experimenting with that in the near future. Here is one thing I am either confused about or concerned about, depending on my understanding of the new mechanics and how they relate to XFoW... My understanding i... |

So the idea is that the second player is the defensive player, so the objectives are hidden from them, is this correct?
Edit- Is there a way to mod this in the scenario editor or via the PDT files, or somewhere else? |

Anyone notice that the VP Hex values are hidden for the 2nd player when using extreme FOW?
First player to move in a scenario sees that VP Hex is worth 500. The second player sees that the VP Hex is worth 0 even though it is still worth 500 points. |

The optional rules are fine by me. I usually play with rout limiting turned off, it is more realistic that way. But I don't care strongly about it. |

Thanks for the files. I am willing to give it a shot. I guess we need one more rebel. |

I might be interested but I am not familiar with the scenario and did not see it in menu from the game. Where can I find it? I would like to take a look at it first to make sure it is something I would be interested in. |
