Thanks for the great discussion. I have realized that the game system has no concept of line of battle so how can it know a unit passed through enemy lines. Perhaps they could keep the last movement stored, then a retreat would retrace this path (It was safe back there). Then the unit should take so... |

Quaama...It is exactly those that rout behind lines that I am referring to. They are unarmed and and near helpless in the rout. Instead they reform at full strength and are a PIA to take care of, Indeed I am no longer sitting on the guns. The fight has moved on, How stupid these rebs are, turn their... |

Problem is it is the yanks routing through my lines. Seems after capture even the dumbest reb would be able to recognize logs. |

Historically a rout meant that the men threw down their weapons and ran. I a men routed into the enemy lines they were either shot or captured. How is it in these game a unit can rout through enemy lines, regain order and cause chaos behind lines. They did not stay together when they routed they don... |

Looks like it could be said that the command range is determined by the subordinate unit. Every brigade must be within division command radius of its immediate superior regardless of the superiors rank or command radius. Like wise for division to corp. |

Is this feature documented? If so where. I looked through all the documentation files in the game folder, could find nothing. |

I am playing the Union at Pea Ridge. Can someone tell me the function of Franz Sigel. He has no command range and does not provide leadership to a division when stacked with the div commander. What's up? In the battle he commanded (poorly) 2 divisions. |

Sorry for the delay in replying. This is a simple case of just using Movement points cus you have them. Advanced to far my flanks were wide open. Unfortunately the Rebs had pushed their cav south and they found me and surrounded me before I was aware they were there. Then I kept feeding cav into the... |

Noted that the objective hex in Shenandoah, Kernstown scenario has 2/6 for vps rather then the usual xxvps. Being new to these games I did not understand, so did a little test to see what this means. 2vps/turn for the Union and 6vps/turn for the Rebs. The rebs need to take that hex fast and hold it ... |
