I think the argument that historical gaming will never be able to recreate actual battles perfectly because the fog of war will never be repeatable is fully supportable. Any time you play any game based on history both sides always know more than they should which will always effect the choices they...

I remember playing this game as a kid and thinking it was cool. I need to go find it at my parents house because I think I still have it. You should play it through just for laughs.

I've never read a full biography on Sherman but need to. He seems like a conflicted person in many ways who fights for the Union but would rather not fight at all. Listened to the podcast today after reading this. You guys can listen to them on the Apple podcasts app if you have an iPhone.

You can't treat Jefferson Davis as a "president" since he was nothing but the leader of a traitorous band of rebels. Assassinating rebel leaders is a sensible tactic for Lincoln to have pursued even earlier than 1864.
