Turn 12. At first I felt Garret was being cautious, but now he is pushing hard at Longstreet NOT Jackson. Unexpected. So, general battle all around. Hood launched his first charge this turn. I am falling behind in points cause I keep screwing up. If you play against Garret he is an expert in artille... |

I love the strategic elements of the game, the pre-war decision making, etc. The biggest negative I would say is the AI is weak on the battlefield and it is single player only. |

We are on turn 4 now. I routed a couple of his 1st corps, AoV troops after they took my guns on turn 1. After that he faded back into the woods. I am not sure what his arrival/release schedule is, so maybe he does not have much to work with yet. Lee and Longstreet showed up with 1.5 brigades of cava... |

Lt Col Garret FitzGerald and I had just finished Brawner's Farm, and decided to do a short Antietam campaign starting at 2nd Bull Run, then Chantilly and on to Sharpsburg. We each had one campaign choice to choose before the first battle, I, as the Confederates, chose 'Hood arrives from the north'. ... |

I tend to disagree with revisionists, but if you use his logic the only thing that mattered in the war was Port Royal, Donelson and New Orleans. At that point it was obvious the Federals were playing a different game than the Confederates. So no battle mattered including Vicksburg. Vicksburg barely ... |

Experienced yet insanely rusty. I used to have a couple of friends that I played these games with regularly, but they have both lost interest in wargames and mostly only play Civilization and what-not. So, very rusty. I am playing Brawner's farm for the first time against Lt Col Garret FitzGerald at... |

A smooth bore musket is also quicker to reload. Personal experience. |

Hi, I am Michael Johnson and I am addicted to strategy games. I hope this support group can help. Seriously, I started with Terrible Swift Sword a bajillion years ago, I worked with Richard Berg in the 90s, and I did a little helping with the Phillipes at Ageod for a few years. I own Ageods ACW2, Th... |
