Any Union members feel like a maneuver? Any Rebs want a battle? I have Antietam, Franklin and Gettysburg.

First, I congratulate General Strickler for his work on this and I for one appreciate it. As for me, I joined the club right about the time of the first post so, to me, this was just the way things are. After playing the AI a few times to get the hang of the game, not knowing any better, I found it ...

I favor a sliding scale as well but i can see an argument for the other side. Each regiment has its own colonel to 'inspire' their men. The leaders in the game will be, by their own authority or under orders, in a coordinating role during the combat, not a 'lead the charge one.' His ability to perfo...

I posted a completed game via the DOR website in early February, it appeared to go smoothly, but I still don't see the game recorded in the DOR spreadsheet. What should I do?
So far only my training game shows up in the spreadsheet. This missing game is my lieutenants' cup game.

Major Loudscott, Here are my thoughts. I completely agree with you about the non-ideality of this solution. Nor would I have any issue with recording the replay. Putting on my programmer's hat, the main reason to paint a unit on the screen is to be able to (theoretically) shoot at it. Throwing off m...

What a good question! I grew up in Paducah KY with the freedom to ride my bike all over town. I remember passing roadside markers commemorating something called "Forrest's Raid on the depot." I had no worldly idea who Forrest was, what a depot was, or what a raid was. The word 'raid' conju...

All, After testing this myself I have a theory of what is going on but I can't say I like the implication. There is a solid line of units between the wrong-way inf on the pike and the artillery at the head of this test column. The V key only shows the shadow casts by the lead arty unit, but why can'...

Hello everyone, My name is Kevin, your newest, wet-nosed cadet. I picked up the WDS CWB demo a few weeks ago, really liked it, and got to yearning for the days of S&T Magazine. I now have the Franklin, Gettysburg and Antietam campaigns too. Gen. Schwartz is running me though my drills (much appr...
