I worked with Walt Dortch after Joe Meyer had to retire suddenly.
He and Jim Boling stepped up to keep the Union Army functioning.
He was an asset to the Union Army and the ACWGC and will be missed.
My condolences to his family.

The ACWGC Special Service Award is a new award on me.
We originally had the Legion of Merit for service to the club that was replaced by the Washington Medal a while back.
I have no graphic for this award.

The DOR looks great. I do have a problem in that none of the files containing actual data will open in my Excel program, even though they appear to be Excel files. I'm running Office 2010 on my desktop and not having any problems opening the DoR records. I do get a notice that the file was download...
