That Norton triggers a false alarm is neither new nor bad, rather to much protect than not enough. All you have to do is either add exceptions to Norton so that neither the folder you place the patch nor the game folder are auto-protected, or you contact Norton so that they take care of this false ... |

Hi, General, While I can sympathize with some of your complaints, I have to say that I have gotten my money's worth out of the Tiller games, which is more than I can say for a bunch of games I bought and found didn't work, were too hard to comprehend, or which I just didn't like. In my humble opini... |

I don't even know where to begin to solve this disaster problem of Tiller making these major changes. I am not even sure that I will be able to play my games again. I did not have ALL OF MY MANY, MANY HPS games installed on my computer. I had the hablit of installing just those game for which I had ... |

MY MISTAKE....SO SORRY....I just can't find him in the forum. Somehow I missed him on my FB page and I have left him a message there. Sorry to have bothered you all. I don't know how to DELETE a post or I would just cancel this.... I do hope that I hear from him...it has been a long time since we we... |

I have heard nothing of my old friend Glynn Hargreaves from Great Britain. He was friend on Facebook but he has disappeared. I know that he had health issues. I have tried searching the forums to no avail, and I no longer remember what army he was registered. I have not been regularly in touch with ... |

Fine as is. And I do think that the MDT be should be an easy, relaxing place to visit. That it does invite the more than occasional contrary argument and controversial opinion of those that care to do so is very annoying and enough to keep some members away not to mention the tone that it sets in a... |

I would like to add my "WELL SAID!" to the replies to General Barlow's post by Generals Gorce and Purcell. With an added "well said" to one of the of the most balanced and objective members of this club, General Antony Barlow himself who exemplifies what real club spirit is all a... |

Only because I am currently playing a Mexican-American War game now. I like the idea of that game set being only in the CCC because it gives that club one more choice among only a few that are available now. Unless I am not up to date I believe the CCC has only 1776, 1812, F&IW and Mex-Am. The A... |

I wish to put forth a brief endorsement of General Nelms. In doing so I must say that though my acquaintance with him was but a brief period of a few of years while I was the DC of The AotC's XIV Corps, "Cumberland Sabres," and the AotC's Adjutant, I nevertheless came to know him as a very... |

Sirs! Giving me that ONE link and saying "use only"...did the trick. I got rid of all my other icons and links. Created ONE new icon, went to control panel, reset password and you will note that I was just ABLE to reply to the awards post.
Thank you. Saluate! |

Thank you. That is very informative and gives me a lot to think about. I just bought another WWII monster Grisby and I am thinking maybe I ought to hold off a bit if the learning curve is that great. Likely that the WWII game with have a similar interface so I will hack around with that for awhile a... |

I have NOT searched the forums...yet. I just want to know if anyone is playing Grisby's game. I am thinking of buying it and though I am sure that it will occupy a lifetime playing it solitaire, I would much prefer playing against a human. So if anyone out there has been or is playing it, I would lo... |
