I also am Irish, Catholic, and also married to a good Irish Catholic woman, so we have much in common Sir. In addition and again in common Sir, I saw, you mentioned, MG Treuting is soldiering with you. I have the honour of being the Chief of Staff to the good Commander of the Army of Tennessee and therefore do not see how I cannot come to his assistance, should you both desire, in your proposed venture against our implacable foe.....the Yankee hordes.

I shall defend the colours to the last breath and defend our homeland to the death.
