Gents a freshly minted Field Lieutenant has joined our ranks. May I introduce Ken Talley, not sure where the young man hails from, but anyone who steps up to the colours to defend our fine Confederacy is more than welcome. He has been assigned as Officer Commanding 6th Cavalry Brigade, 2nd (Armstrong’s) Cavalry Division, Forrest's Cavalry Corps, Army of Tennessee (AoT). So in honour of the occasion Gen Al Hovey has broken out two Hogs Heads of his special reserve, vintage (made two weeks ago), Chateaux de Nitroglycerine . So get out your drinking horns, fill them up and toast our new young Field Lieutenant - and as Officers of the fine AoT drink like you mean it!
