... my wife and I were bartering on who had to do the dishes. She (jokingly) grabs my Civil War Trivia book and flips it open to a random page. If I get all the questions right - she does the dishes. If not...

Who led the Confeder... "Braxton Bragg"

What state was... "North Carolina"

What was the name of the Union Chief... "Garesché"

What geographical point did the Confederate attack flounder... "Round Forest"

Who led.... "William B. Hazen"

Who led the Confed... "John McCown" [erate attack on the Union flank?]

WRONG! She says, "William Hardee."

No amount of explanation in the world would get me out of doing the dishes. :evil:

Poorly worded question. The answer could be anyone from Bragg all the way down to the colonel who gave the order to advance.
