I updated the DOR files at https://www.acwgc.net/dor today.

April was a big month as far as both membership numbers and gaming goes. We are -14 Members for 2025 which is already above our average of -10 per year since the end of the pandemic. Hopefully we will get some new recruits in the summer to help refill the ranks. We will do our usual posting in the WDS forums and their Facebook page. With gaming, we had a stellar month! We had 50 completed games listed in the DOR with a total of 1,892 turns played! That is awesome and it is good to see people gaming a ton this spring.

That is both good and bad news, good for gaming but poor for membership.

I propose the onus to attract new members should not fall solely upon the Admin of the ACWGC. Every serving member of the Club should make it their objective to encourage friends, gaming buddies and wargaming contacts to sign up to the Club. All new members will be warmly welcomed and provided with all the information necessary to make their foray into the very best ACW gaming, the WDS Civil War Battles Series, simple, easy and a ton of fun.
