GENERAL MARK NELMS
For his consistent, prompt and abiding service as a Cabinet Secretary representing the ACWGC Union Army for the years 2008 thru 2011, General Mark Nelms is presented with the Union Army's Outstanding Service Medal. General Nelms maintained his Cabinet seat focused upon the health and welfare of the American Civil War Game Club, complimenting his contribution with a steadfast, abiding interest in the welfare of the Union Army. His measured thoughts and inquiries concerning the items that were brought before the Cabinet in that period of time for discussion and debate bespoke a fundamental understanding and support for the direction and future of the club and frequently identified the core values and principles underlying the subjects at hand. His direct, forthright and economical manner of engagement were and are reflective of his excellent personal history and experience within the club, a record second to none in both contribution and effectiveness.
This is the General's
third such award!
