Ok, as mentioned before this scenario allows the yanks to shimmy right up the left side coastline without taking a shot; the second yank has just demonstrated it; I can only assume it's a "secret war college thing." (oops, did I say that out loud? [:0])

That said, they'll work their way to hex (29,2) where they can take out the fist set of emplaced guns without any risk of harm. I assume the other two sets of guns will follow leaving the fixed reinforcements either frozen or sitting ducks and, at the very least a minor victory, is a certainly and the yank infantry doesn't even have to move against the rebs. How's that for easy club points? [B)]

Look, I'm used to loosing, as my record bears out, but, as things stand now, why even play the scenario as you have no chance at all to inflict any casualties, none; zip; cero; zilcho; nada mucho;
; nary a damn bit; well you get the idea. I suppose I'm more dismayed that a player would find this tactic 'ok', but that's just me and, since it's not disallowed by the game or club rules, it's technically not gamey.

Anyhoo, thanks for listening to me grumble. I'll send my two opponents an early termination bid and just move on to the next scenario. I hope my grumbling doesn't come across as personal or unappreciative of y'all's work as that's not my intent; I enjoy the games a lot and am glad your willing to listen when we, the players, have issues. Best wishes,

Lt. Gen. M. Conrad Smith
