American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Gentlemen,

The votes have been tallied and double-checked. Here are the final results:

Pierre Desruisseaux = 14 votes
Patrick Carroll = 16 votes
Blake Strickler = 32 votes

Blake Strickler received the majority of the votes. As of November 1, 2010, he will take office as the next Club President.

According to our unofficial statistician (General Sands), this amounts to a voter turnout of approximately 15% - the highest he can remember for any club-wide vote.

This has been a wonderful election and I appreciate everyone who participated in any way. The candidates did a fine job of expressing their ideas, Generals Sands and Weir were wonderful to work with on the election committee, and of course those who took the time to vote contributed greatly.

Drinks are on me tonight!

Thanks for the well-wishes! I had made a nice little post here earlier today but a glitch in our system deleted a number of posts from today. To quicky summarize it is a great honor to be elected to this position! I want to encourage all Members to come to the Cabinet with any issues or suggestions they have as to how this Club can be improved. I am always more than willing to listen to anyone's opinion on issues. I look forward to the next two years!
