OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!

This parade is called to announce the appointment of Colonel Donald Centers to the Superintendency of the Union Military Academy, and to recognize the services performed by General David Danner in that capacity over these last two months.



Col. Centers is now authorized to display the UMA Superintendent Sevice Ribbon, denoting his current position.



CITATION FOR HONORABLE SERVICE MEDAL
GENERAL DAVID DANNER



For his unstinting and accommodating agreement to serve as the UMA Superintendent during a period of important transition at the Union Military Academy, and for his excellent, prompt and insightful guidance of that institution during that time, General Danner is awarded the Honorable Service Medal.

This is the General's second such award!

Don Centers will do a fine job as Superintendent at the UMA. He has been a willing adviser to me and will guide and assist the training staff with all the Cadets that pass through the Academy. Actually I had no idea just how important the Superintendent's position was until I was stationed there. The UMA is the breeding ground for our officers and there was many a time that I thought of the past Superintendent, Matt Perrenod and the work he did for the Club. Matt spent many days training Don and me for the role at the UMA. I applaud Matt for the transitional training he did for us and thank him personally for taking the time to train me and now Don for the Academy position. Salute.
