"None to Caress" by Mort KünstlerHonors for Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) StaffOfficers of the Confederate States of America (CSA) Armies & Fellow Club Members,
I am pleased this time to not only honor one person but a whole staff that is essential to the lifeblood of the Confederate States of America (CSA) Armies & via that the Club at large. I am pleased to honor the
Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) Staff for their timeless dedication to training new members of the CSA & the Club. They are the first people someone new to the Club meets and often or not their guidance and handling of new recruits will make or break that recruit's efforts & decision to stay with joining. Thankfully at VMI we have an excellent staff that has been in place for over a decade in most cases. It is a small staff of three and then a small body of instructors. Not as formidable as the Union Military Academy (UMA) in terms of size & resources, but VMI is able to field a might force against the foe.

With it's cornerstone Motto, coined by General John Dragan in June of 2007, "It's better to win a friend than it is to win a battle", the tradition of instilling such values upon graduates of VMI make it a part of the Club that spreads the ideals of this Club forward to new generations of members every year.
I am pleased to honor the follow Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) Staff Officers:
Commandant of the Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) General Nick Kunz
Deputy Commandant of the Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) General John Newton
Dean of Cadets of the Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI) Lieutenant General Tom Phillips
I'd like to thank these three men personally for having such a wonderful impact upon our Club, it's members & the CSA!
Thank you VMI Staff from ALL of us!
Three Cheers for the Vicksburg Military Institute (VMI)
Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! The buffet of food & more importantly drinks is open!
