(The following was posted this date within the Union Army Headquarters forum.)OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!In recognition of his service of six and a half years as Commander of the Union Army of the Tennessee, a service marked by unflinching attention to detail as well as superb guidance and leadership, the General-In-Chief of the ACWGC Union Army, General Derald Riggs, has ordered the issuance of the following awards to General Dan Peterjohn on the occasion of his relief from command of the Union Army of the Tennessee. While these emblems of service may superficially denote an officer's capacities and achievements, they do not fully represent the many personal appreciations felt by both his commanders and subalterns at such an officer's steadfast commitment and sense of duty. Though he will never admit to the success of his efforts, nor bask in his accomplishments, Dan Peterjohn's tenure as Commander of the Union Army of the Tennessee serves as a clear and distinct model for all AC's to come.
DEFENDER OF THE UNION MEDAL / OUTSTANDING SERVICE MEDAL / EXEMPLARY SERVICE MEDAL / HONORABLE SERVICE MEDAL / GOOD CONDUCT MEDALGENERAL DAN PETERJOHN, ACWGC UA These are the General's 2nd, 5th, 4th, 4th and 7th awards, respectively!
In addition, and utilizing his exclusive authority as the General-In-Chief of the ACWGC Union Army, General Riggs has ordered that General Peterjohn be awarded the AotT's James B. McPherson Achievement Medal.

Officers and dignitaries are cordially invited to attend the celebrations scheduled for General Peterjohn at the Parade Ground & Mess Tent of the Union Army Headquarters Forum, with libations recently seized from the enemy by the Gulf Blockading Squadrons. I am also informed that Madame Coverly of Cincinnati and Nashville fame has kindly assisted in providing additional barmaids for this occasion.
