You see, this is the kind of thing that just serves to drag on this war! These C.S.A. people just keep promoting themselves in the belief that what they cannot accomplish on the battlefields they can realize through more gold braid. "Oh look! We've just lost another battle at Gettysburg . . . but no problem, we'll just promote everyone involved and send them out again!" But I guess that I shouldn't complain too loudly, as we in the Union Army do the same thing, only a little less loudly. Which means that the conflict will go on until the last two computers have disintegrated from overuse.
Congratulations to everyone! If you should be looking for a new uniform to compliment that new rank, I hear that such can be acquired on the Q from our Baltimore Quartermaster. (Hey, we've got to make a buck somewhere to help pay the electric bill!
