American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Having shared an office with my wife for approximately 36 hours I must request the issuance of extra OBD points for married men.

How can we possibly be expected to game, interact, email and.... hold on.... she had to tell me it was raining outside and to put the dog shoes on the puppy before taking her out.

As I was saying - our ability, or lack thereof, to game to our heart's content is under constant.... yes, dear.... assault.

I am considering getting a wall divider but that won't work. It will just upset her and she will end up peeking around it to question "what are you doing!" every hour or so.

Therefore I request additional OBD points for married men. I believe 30 OBD points for every year of marriage distributed on your wedding anniversary seems appropriate.

Anyone with both an ex-wife and a new wife should probably apply for increased compensation.

Santa brought the wife a new pc for Xmas 20 years ago, whenever it comes time for an update she gets the new one, I get the old one for gaming.
Then again we still live in our 7 room house and have the office space for 2 desks separated by a bookcase.
The perils of apartment living.

Oh how I must agree with you. The glaring stares, the reminder to do little things because you're on the PC and having fun (which some how annoys them to no end??), and the let's go for a walk with the dog or do you want to watch a moving together? With any scenario were the answer is "No" there is a major price to pay later.

It's really hard to focus and fight the enemy when there is such stress and pressure to balance the wife from attacking from the rear or side flanks.

I'm all for doubling the OBD points for members who are married.

Just hope my beloved wife doesn't read this.
