Gentlemen!

CSA CoA General Mallory has proposed and the Cabinet has unanimously approved the following promotions:

President Dortch & Cabinet,

This is to present the following for promotion within the CSA General ranks of the ACWGC:

To Brigadier General:

Col. Denny Holt (301.610 OBD points)

Col. Holt has actively engaged on the field of battle. He has received both the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition and the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service.


To Major General:

BGen Paul Swanson (548.2 OBD points, and Command of 4th Division, II Corps, Army of Northern Virginia)

General Swanson continues to actively engage on the battlefield and leads the Fourth Division, II Corps, Army of Northern Virginia. In addition the having received both the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition and the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service, he has been awarded the VMI OCS Medal & Ribbon for having served as an instructor for five cadets at VMI.

Pleased to see two very deserving Southern Officers receive their Stars!

Brigadier General Denny Holt has been on a tear since joining the Club back in July!

Major General Paul Swanson joined in October and has been a main stay as a Division Commander and as VMI's Sharpshooter Coordinator and Instructor!

Both Officers are from the VMI Class of 2020! <SALUTE>

Granny wuz so pleased by my recent promotion that she laid out a heapin' table of cat's head biscuits, sausage gravy an' sweet tea. I must confess that I did as much damage ta tha fixins as one man can possibly do. Granny wuz always a great cook!

It would seem that I will soon get ta make General Swanson's fine acquaintance in the next round of tha current tournament.

I must admit that it still seems ta be a mystery ta me why we is afightin' one anotha when they is soooo many Yankees still left ta bleed.

My scouts have revealed that I will have a very difficult task ahead of me in that match but I shall try and make it entertaining.
