Gentlemen,

I am most pleased to annonce that Lt. General Randall Sickbert has been awarded the Exemplary Service Medal for his service to the Union Army and to the ACWGC. Here is the text of the Commendation.

FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC IN NUMEROUS COMMAND POSITIONS FROM JANUARY
2019 TO OCTOBER 2021. LT GEN SICKBERT’S CONSISTENT SUPPORT OF THE MUSTER PROCESS WHICH EMBRACED THE
ENTIRETY OF V CORPS AND HIS MANY ACTS OF SUPPORT TO FELLOW MEMBERS TYPIFY HIS LEADERSHIP AND PROVIDE
SOUND EXAMPLES WHICH EPITOMIZE THE LEADERSHIP AND CHARACTER TO WHICH ALL UNION OFFICERS SHOULD
ASPIRE. LT GEN SICKBERT’S SELFLESS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC BRING GREAT CREDIT TO
HIM, THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, AND THE ACWGC.

My sincere thanks to General Sickbert who has been instrumental in keeping the Army together!
