I got to play in an award winning scenario at HMGS Cold Wars based on the Alamo battle using 28mm figures and a modified version of the Muskets and Tomahawks miniature game rules.
Each figure was an individual man, the Texans were all named. The Mexican force had almost 3 times as many men and had to take the Chapel and not lose more than 50% of their force.
The Texans won a moral victory holding the Chapel and killing 55% of the Mexican force.
Here are some pictures with my captions.
https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArI7dcTa2N3wmGh-7Oj ... l?e=TZLQlgI have now had the opportunity to play 3 different games run by the W.A.M.P. group and have enjoyed all of them. If you ever attend an HMGS event and they are running a game it's a good bet it will be good.
Did not do well in my tournament but did play in an enjoyable ACW naval game using Sail and Steam Navies rules, a new set for me that I liked very much. Simple movement system and the combat system is detailed without needing a computer to work out hit locations and damage.
Also got to play in a 20 player Test of Honor game, 5 tables with 4 players on each table covering different aspects and eras the system covers.
Hopefully will get caught up with my games today, definitely by tomorrow.
