Sirs,

It gives me great pleasure to announce two well-deserved promotions.

Maj. Gen. Tim Reneau, Army of Tennessee, has left his position as Gator Alley's divisional leader to take over as the Second Corps commander. This step up in the command chain qualifies him for a new star and the rank of Lt. General. SALUTE

Brig. Gen. Tom Marshall, Army of Tennessee, will replace Tim Reneau as the commander of the Gator Alley division. Recently returned from Richmond, where he served two years as the Club's president, Tom is a respected member who I am happy to see get a new star as well. SALUTE

General McEntegart <Salute>

Sir,

It appears that General Strickler has sent me and newly minted Maj. General Tom Marshall a valentine this day! Thank you for the congrats! I understand with the promotion the first round of drinks is on me, Tom gets the second round of course!

So to all my southern friends, drink up and let's have a bit of merriment before we get back into the serious business of running those northern aggressors out of Dixieland!

Thanks very much for the good wishes gentlemen - it's been a joy riding alongside.
