Gentlemen,

It is with great pleasure I announce that Gen. Scott Ludwig has become the 6th Confederate Member in 28 years to receive the CSA's highest honor - the Confederate Legend Medal. This medal is only awarded when Confederate Members accumulate 5,000 OBD points in the Department of Records. This feat requires many years of sustained gaming and participation. Gen. Ludwig is known to everyone in this Club as a hard-working and honorable member who has participated on numerous levels of admin over the years. Gen. Ludwig is also a recipient of the ACWGC's Washington Medal of Merit (formerly the Legion of Merit) the highest honor the ACWGC can bestow.

Gen. Scott Ludwig joins these other Confederate Members as the only recipients of this most prestigious medal - Gen. John Dragan (2011), Gen. Nick Kunz (2018), Lt. Gen. Tom Phillips (2020), Gen. Cameron McOmish (2022), and myself, Gen. Blake Strickler (2024).

SALUTE

The number 5,000 seems so out of reach when you join this club. I find it amazing you guys have gamed and participated for so many years so as to accumulate that total. A remarkable achievement and my hat is off to Gen. Scott Ludwig!

General Ludwig, Sir! <salute>

Scott, congratulations on achieving this tremendous milestone!

You have been my go-to person for so many things over the years when I served as Commandant of VMI!

You still are updating and maintaining the CSA Order of Battle webpages and continue to add the wave in the battle flags that I create!

Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do my Dear Club Friend as you have and continue to serve our gaming Club!

Your Obedient Servant,

General Nick Kunz
Commanding,
Armstrong's Cavalry Brigade,

General Ludwig <salute>

Congratulations Sir, on that outstanding achievement and Legend Medal Award. 5,000 OBD points is a totally mind blowing figure and one achieved by only a very small group within the ACWGC. Well Done, Sir.
