American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Gentlemen I am happy to welcome General Robert Busey PHD back into the Armies of the CSA and specifically the best Division in the club – McOmish’s Division of Medeiros Corps – the Army of Tennessee. Gen Busey was given special leave to attend the prestigious University of Cambridge England where he was studying anthropology. He completed his PHD in September, with his thesis being on that critical aspect of anthropology “Why are Union Officers so Ugly” His 10,000-word thesis can be distilled down to the fact that most union officers have been beaten senseless with the “Ugly Stick and with the rest being ugly purely due to genetics. So, in celebration of his PHD and his return to the colours I will be hosting all you can drink out of control party at the Mississippi Gentlemen’s club, Grove Street, Vicksburg. All club members are welcome to attend, however please be advised there will be a bar fight in the early morning hours, so as we say in the most Southern State of the Confederacy, “If you can’t handle the jandle” leave before midnight.

Always happy to lend a hand in the festivities, General McOmish. I agree with your grand announcement that General Busey is to be congratulated, not only for his fine expose on the particulars of Yankee genetics, but for having the stomach to delve into such distasteful particulars.
