I beg to report that after long and distinguished service as commander XVIII Corps, Army of the James, Lt. General Ken Counselman has decided to step down and accept a Brigade command within the AoJ.

Major General Mark Oakford has agreed to step into Ken's shoes and will immediately assume command of XVIII Corps.

I would like to thank Ken for his faithful service and also thank Mark for stepping up to assume this new resposnability...

Now... The drinks are on me.
