Gents,
I got this book a few days ago and it was such a good read that I finshed it. The book covers the story of weapons design the led up to the development of the AK , about how it was developed and then how it has affected the world. Its ISBN number is 979-0-141-02063-1. It is by C.J. Chivers and ex Marine and senior writer for the New York Times. Although I have handled one I have yet to fire an AK - an interesting fact; the USA is currently the biggest buyer of AK's in the world - go figure.
