Congratulations Sir! The honor of the promotion is well earned. I particularly enjoy those times when you share your tactical thoughts on the game and your work with the Red Badge of Courage Tournament is very much appreciated!

The RBCT is a jewel of the club that some may have overlooked and that is shame really. You and Gen. McOmish make available an excellent venue to not only participate in a Club event but a great way to make the acquaintance of other club members. I note that in this last round there were several of the smaller battles that went unclaimed. Those little Hors d' oeuvre battles are great fun. Not only can one finish them relatively quickly but it allows a fellow the opportunity to perhaps cross swords with someone you have never met before. There are some dang interesting members in this club and I am thankful to you sir for offering a chance to meet some of them and who knows, perhaps pick up some of their excellent skills through osmosis
