I am very happy to see you back in the saddle, Cliff. Give those Frenchies that 'whiff of grape' they love so much, and then ride 'em under!

Salute!

l'Chevalier strides across the chamber to stand before the Prinz Dumas and pick up the gauntlet the Prussian Kavallerie General had tossed down.

The respective adjutants have met and concluded terms for the forthcoming combat...

Waterloo Game, scenario 055 Hypo 6, occuring on the large campaign map, and featuring the Armee du Nord vs the Heer am Niederrhein (no Anglo-Allied interlopers present).

Regards,

As I sit at a table on the sidewalk of a very tastefully done café near the Spanish encampment where forces are gathering for a most horrendous battle, I gaze at the Gazzette and read the news of this forthcoming storied battle. My first thought is that I am glad I am not in the front lines! This will leave a mark. Second thought is that there will be some very nice French battle souvenirs on the market soon. With Christmas fast approaching a shiny, heavy cavalry helmet, slightly dented, will make a great chamber pot.
