 Post subject: Fatigue Loss

IIRC, you can adjust the fatigue loss for both melee and fire in the scenario file. I wanted to increase fatigue loss for fire to match fatigue loss of melee. Can anyone point me in the right direction for making this change?

I think it is the first two numbers listed after the PDT line in the scenario file. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

Ok - here is some text of a typical scenario file.

Line 9 lists the PDT file that will be used.

Line 10 has to do with the A/I Orders. 2 for each side means agressive attack for each side and 6 is the A/I Flags value.

As far as I know there is no value that defines the fatigue loss rate for fire OR melee in the PDT file.

This is encoded in the engine and is "hard-wired."

How many of you would find a page to be helpful that explains each line of the scenario file and PDT file?

I found out the hard way. I changed the one number and tested it and no difference in fatigue loss. Although I did discover the difference between offensive and defensive fire. So I gained something very valuable out of it.

I think an explanation of the scenario headers would be useful Although you can kind of figure out most of it from the editor headings. I don't think anyone has anything posted on the web discussing the scenario file format. If so, I couldn't find it.

Bill,

2 doesn't mean agreesive attack.

"An A/I value of 2 indicates that the nation should not initiate any A/I orders on its own. This value is best used when A/I Scripts are going to be defined for the scenario."[;)]
